The transition of the educational process from physical classroom learning to distance learning around the world come-up with new challenges that recently have led to proposing the instructional design of distance learning in higher education. To cope up with these challenges, higher education institutions have transformed the educational process from face to face classroom learning to distance learning. Practical and project-based courses had faced the most challenging transition in this regard. The transition has resulted in new knowledge and experience in virtual learning where the instructor and the student continue education without compromising with quality and achievement of learning outcomes. Currently, the need to Restructure The Instructional design of the Design studio courses becomes a new way of thinking to be adapted not only to cope up with the Global recently raised issues, but also as a new approach on the future learning pedagogy. Technology especially digital and software tools act as a key driver in this shift of teaching-learning pedagogy as well as redesigning assessment for the design studio courses for example.
