University Assistant at "The Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM)

Anda-Ioana SFINTES is a practicing architect and a university assistant at "The Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM) Bucharest. She has a Masters degree in Anthropology and a PhD in Architecture. Her work focuses on the understanding and creative interpretation of the built environment, the architectural response to contemporary cultural and social challenges, as well as on the modern trends in teaching architecture in a multidisciplinary perspective. She follows bridging architectural design and scientific quality in architectural education, searching for coherent ways of applying and illustrating research aims and outcomes throughout the entire design process. In 2016 she founded ANTROPOARH Research in Architectural Anthropology Studio as part of UAUIM's Center for Architectural and Urban Studies
