Associate Professor, Architecture Department/American University of Ras Al Khaimah
Dr. Anis Semlali is an Associate Professor at the American University, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. He graduated from Tunis majoring in Interior Design and completed his MSC in Architecture and a Ph.D. in Interior Design with a focus on technological innovations from the University of Montreal. Dr. Anis's research aims to explore new ways to support the reasoning of actors (whether designers, archaeologists, architects, or others) through a multidisciplinary approach that tends to consider complexities and processes rather than their results. He tries to combine the knowledge related to digital media with that of various design disciplines. He is also an active member of the Computer Aided Design Research Group where he has participated in several research projects.
