Prince Sultan University/ Engineering - Interior Design
Marcella Camponogara is an Assistant Professor at Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She has a Ph.D. in Architectural, Urban, and Interior design from Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Her PhD thesis focused on the idea of a narrative museum to explore the mutual intertwinement between emerging heritage theories and contemporary architectural critique and practice. Since 2012 she has been collaborating with Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, Politecnico di Milano, Italy on several teaching activities, undertaking research in the field of interior architecture, museum, social housing, heritage studies and teaching interior architecture at BA and MA courses. Her academic interests lie in the role and evolution of interior architecture in the context of the current socio-cultural scenario and evolving living behaviours.
