Associate professor in the Department of Interior Design, University of Petra, Jordan
Dr. Mayyadah Fahmi Hussein is an Associate professor in the Department of Interior Design, University of Petra, Jordan. she obtained her PhD degree in Interior Design in 2004 and received an MSc in Interior Design, both from College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad, Iraq. She has authored more than 15 articles in local and international journals she has participated in numerous national and international workshops, conferences and in International Art Exhibitions. Also, she is a member of many scientific disciplinary councils, and professional art and design associations, and a founder member of JIDA (Jordan interior design association). Her research interests are in futurology of interior design, sustainable material, clean energy, rooftop garden, happiness theory in interior design. She has published more than 18 articles on interior design in reputable journals.
